Meet the Coaches
Coach Vesco
Coach Vesco has been working with various teams and programs in the Princeton area since 2002. He holds a USSF D National License, Coerver Youth Diploma, and Director of Coaching Diploma from USC.
Born in Sevlievo, Bulgaria, Vesco trained at Rakovski Sevlievo and Levski Sofia Academies. His professional career began at age 18 for Rakovski Sevlievo (1988-90). He progressed to LEX Lovech (1991) and played first division with Etar Veliko Tarnovo (1992-94).
Vesco moved to the US in 1994 and played for two years with the NJ Stallions in the USISL D3 Pro League.
Coach Milen
Milen was born in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. He received his training at FC Etar Youth Academy. Milen played six years at semi-professional level in Bulgaria.
He has been coaching soccer for over 15 years and has experience working with competitive teams from U8 to U18. He has been integral part of the Junior Development Program from the very beginning and has worked with players age 3-6 for more than 10 years.
Teams, coached by Milen Nikolov have won 6 State Cups, 1 Regional and 1 National title. His PFC Barcelona 2006 B team was ranked #1 in NJ and #10 in the country in 2024.
In May 2016, Milen completed his UEFA B license. He also holds a USSF B license and Premier Diploma from United Soccer Coaches as well as Coerver Youth Diploma. He also holds Director of Coaching Diploma from USC. Milen earned his Master's degree from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Coach Ivan
Ivan was born in Sandanski Bulgaria. He received his training at FC Pirin Blagoevgrad Academy, where he competed against the best academy teams in Bulgaria.
Ivan moved to the USA in 2004 and has been coaching and training teams and players in the Princeton area for 15 years. He holds a USSF D National License.
